Guess I should go first

My name is Jane and I organise/promote/DJ the club, as well as do all the website things and other promo/online things.

As well as all the above, I also play bass in the UK Glamourous Goth band Uninvited Guest whom I love and we're currently writing and recording the 3rd album. I joined back in Winter 2007 and we've played lots of luvly festivals and shows around the UK (including Dark-Cide back in 2009)

Before that I was in a goth/industrial band called Squid with two of my best friends (who also have been invlovled over the years with Dark-Cide and Electro-Cide) Lorraine and DeathStarDom. The band later became 616abortions for a few years and Lorraine left with a couple of other friends (Gemma and Jared aka as DJ Batastrophe from Yorks very wonderful Darklands club). We played gigs and festivals all over the UK and even in Europe on occassions.

I love lots about the various goth and industrial scenes as well as a lot of other music too, and Dark-Cide (and it's occasional spin-off Electro-Cide) have been a very large part of my life over the past 9 years

I love to dance and party and try and visit many other clubs around the country.

I love movies new and old, and also lots of the great TV series that are out there.

I have high hopes for 2010 and can't wait to see how Dark-Cide does this year xx

I'm from Poulton, near Blackpool but go to uni in Birmingham to study Music Tech, so it's difficult to get to Dark-Cide as often as I'd like which is a shame because I love to dance there and there's no where like it that I can find in Birmingham.

I love The Sisters Of Mercy and Depeche Mode amongst others. Went to see Depeche Mode in Manchester in December and it was amazing!...Reach out and touch DAVE!

I've been attending DC since the very first one and think that 53 degrees is the best venue so far. If you don't know me already then come and say hi next Saturday - I have red wool dreads and a vine & leaves tattoo on my right arm and back.

I'm pretty new to the scene - well not entirely as I've been to the occasional Goth night in the past, just not really gotten into it until I decided to get to Whitby this year. I'm from up in the Lakes but there isn't anything going on up here, and my friends aren't interested. Recognised lots of faces last Saturday from Whitby but I've not really introduced myself yet.

Looking forward to more Dark-Cide nights.

ps I think someone thought me or guy I was chatting to stole their drink on Saturday night. I don't drink so it wasn't me honest

I'm DJ, a regular Dark-Cider for about four years now though I like to lurk in the shadows so I doubt any of the other regulars will really be aware of me! Dancing is something I leave to other people...

I'm probably most recognisable for my variable hair style - over the past four years it's been spikes, a mohwk, a skinhead, a bi-hawk and now it's long with an undercut! (hopefully a prelude to a deathhawk).

As a general but not absolute rule I prefer my 'Cide dark rather than electro.

i'm a first-going-into-second-year music student at preston (if you can call the stuff they do music)

i cant mention my fave bands as there are FAR too many to list!


i've been into cybergothic stuff and the EBM/darkave/psytrance secene for a good few years, and as far as i know i'm the only cybergoth in my town

i'm hopefully going to attend the DC nites once i've moved to my preston flat..during which time i'll be upgrading my gear.

i'm usually recognisable as i wear either my cryoflesh or allycat mask, spiked goggles on top of my hat, my allycat cyber gauntlets, either urban camo or black combat pants and black combat boots

i'm hoping to get some chest armour soon and upgrade my boots to mid length combat boots


if you see me round preston, dont be afraid to come and say hi, i dont bite.....much
