July 18th - Special Guest DJ - Jay from Deviant UK
This is going to be a great night - we're very proud to have Jay from Deviant UK come along and play guest DJ sets in both Electro-Cide and Dark-Cide. Deviant UK have to be one of the biggest UK success stories in recent years, having played umpteen shows and many major festivals across the UK and abroad, and supporting acts such as Covenant, Combichrist, Project Pitchfork et al. Jay recently teamed up with Rotersand on their latest EP which went straight to number 1 in the German Alternative charts. Check out his myspace for full details of the man and his music.

About Dark-Cide
Dark-Cide is a friendly long running monthly club event based in Preston, Lancashire. We play an intense but also fun mix of Goth, Industrial, Cyber and 80's music.
Promoted and run by a small team, and thankfully supported by many devoted clubbers over the years, Dark-Cide has been hosting parties at various clubs in Preston almost every month since March 2001.
- Miss 616 / Jane - Main organiser, Promoter and DJ
- Kristen - Resident DJ
- Lorraine - Organiser and now also Resident DJ
- Fraser - Doors and Torches
- Andrew - Help and Back-Up
Club CODA, Preston
Back in August 2008, Dark-Cide moved to Preston's premiere Alternative night club THE VENUE. This is located very close to the Bus Station and Guildhall and has the added bonus' of a full stage for bands - AND a 2nd club room. Which means we could expand what we have to offer by resurecting our EBM / Harsh Industrial spin-off event ELECTRO-CIDE that we put on back in 2005.
In those few short months we've gone from strength to strength and had some of our best nights ever there.
Then, in Nov, The Venue had a change of management, and now for 2009 is rebranded and relaunched as CODA. Check our News page for more detailsExtras at the new-look Dark-Cide and Electro-Cide
- Two club rooms and bars
- Ever improving lighting - now with 'Lazors' in Electro-Cide room!
- VJs projecting images onto screens to enhance the evening
- More guest DJs
- Stage for Live Acts
We aim to try and keep people entertained and play lots of requests. However we always do have a great deal of these so getting them in as early as possible is always a good idea!
We also try and keep the door costs the same - even if we are having bands play. The doors are now £4.00 (sadly due to higher costs) and we must stress that you have to be over 18 to come into the club for legal reasons - and that we reserve the right to refuse entry. This is just so we are covered in case people we think may cause trouble try and come in etc.
This site is always being updated, so please keep coming back for more information about the club and our plans for the up coming months
